Nursery Nurse (Part-Time)

Location: Cheshunt, Hertfordshire
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
Salary: £13.00 – £13.70 per hour

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a friendly early years team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and education for children
• Create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities
• Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Support children’s learning, wellbeing, and development
• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures
• Work closely with the Room Leader and wider nursery team

Requirements:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification (Essential)
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Commitment to professional development
• Previous nursery or early years experience preferred
• Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, or Food Hygiene qualifications are advantageous
