We are seeking an experienced Philanthropy Writer to create compelling fundraising content that inspires donors and supports major philanthropic initiatives. This role involves translating complex topics into engaging, persuasive materials for high-value supporters, helping secure funding for impactful projects across education, research, healthcare, innovation, and social change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality fundraising and donor engagement content
  • Write tailored proposals, concept notes, discussion papers, and cases for support
  • Research, synthesize, and communicate complex information in a clear and compelling manner
  • Collaborate with academics, researchers, fundraising teams, and stakeholders
  • Create donor-facing materials that align with fundraising strategies
  • Develop content resources and support tools for fundraising teams
  • Edit and review written materials for accuracy, clarity, and impact
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Support campaign development and donor cultivation activities

Requirements

  • Experience writing persuasive fundraising, grant, philanthropic, communications, or donor-focused content
  • Strong research, editing, and storytelling abilities
  • Ability to simplify complex topics for non-technical audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using creative content tools is advantageous
